Licence
TABU projects are free for personal use on your own machine or server. This licence says what that means.
Which projects
This licence covers the TABU apps, bots, tools and utilities that Tabu offers on tabuprojects.com, including their code where it is published ("the software"), unless a project comes with a different licence. A project's own documents (listed on the Legal page) also apply and win if they say something different.
Parts made by others (open source libraries and similar) keep their own licences; each project lists them.
You may
- download, install and use the software for free, for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, on your own devices or on a server you control;
- change the software for your own personal use;
- make backup copies.
You may not
- use the software for a business or to make money (for example offering it as a service, or using it for clients) without our written permission;
- sell, rent, lend or sublicense it, or publish or share copies of it, changed or unchanged, without our written permission (sharing a link to tabuprojects.com is fine);
- remove or hide copyright notices, licence texts or warnings;
- use it for anything illegal, or to break the rules of a service it connects to.

Ownership
The software stays the property of Tabu. You receive the right to use it under this licence, not ownership of it.
No warranty and your risk
The software is free and is provided "as it is", without any warranty: it may contain mistakes or stop working. Trading bots place real orders with real money; you are responsible for how you set up and use them, and you can lose money.
As far as the law allows, Tabu is not liable for any loss caused by the software or its use. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law or affects your legal rights as a consumer.
End of the licence
If you break this licence, your right to use the software ends and you must delete your copies.
Law and changes
This licence is governed by the law of England and Wales. We may publish new versions; a version you already downloaded can keep being used under the version it came with.
