TABU uses services from other companies. TABU is not owned by, endorsed by or officially connected with any of them. Each company's own terms and privacy policy apply to its service. Their names are used only to say that TABU works with them.

You may use TABU, and the data it shows you, only for your own personal use and for learning and training purposes. Several of these services allow their data or API to be used for personal use only.

1. Trading 212

TABU connects to your own Trading 212 account through the Trading 212 API, with the key you create in the Trading 212 app. Trading 212 provides its API for use with your own account, for personal use. TABU only uses the key for the functions you switch on (reading your account and, if you start a bot, placing that bot's orders).

Trading 212 is your broker: it holds your money and investments, carries out orders and sends your official statements. TABU is not part of Trading 212.

2. Yahoo Finance

Prices, charts, dividend information, exchange rates and market status come mainly from Yahoo Finance, read by the TABU server with the open-source library yfinance. Yahoo allows this data to be used for personal, non-commercial use only. It may be delayed or wrong, and it must not be resold or published. yfinance is not made or endorsed by Yahoo.

3. Claude (Anthropic)

The "Create bot using Claude AI" feature only shows instructions for you to copy. If you use Claude, you do it yourself, in your own Claude account, under Anthropic's terms. TABU does not send anything to Claude or Anthropic.

4. Expo

The App is built with Expo and React Native (open-source tools). During testing it can run inside the Expo Go app, which is provided by Expo under its own terms.

5. Hosting, email and secure connections

The TABU server runs on the server you rent or own, from the hosting provider you choose.
Password-reset emails are sent through the email provider set up on that server (if any).
Secure (https) connections use certificates from free certificate authorities (such as Let's Encrypt), obtained automatically by the Caddy web server.

6. If you run your own server

If you use TABU with your own server, you choose and are responsible for your own hosting, email and other providers, and you must follow their terms as well as the terms of Trading 212 and Yahoo.

7. Changes

These companies can change or stop their services, prices or terms at any time. Parts of TABU may then stop working. We will update this page when the services TABU uses change.
